Lister D type 2hp
Evening all, I have just taken delivery of this little R.A Lister D type. Everything but the brass specification plate points towards a 2hp at 1000rpm engine built in 1947 - we will know for sure in a few days time. It's a nice little runner, if a little flighty and the governor is as much use as a chocolate tea pot, it probably wants lighter springs inside the governor housing. Anyway, here it is for a brief run, goes well considering it hasn't run for a few years.
