Marjan Berger: "Dat geeft zo'n schuldgevoel"

On World Alzheimer's Day of all days (yesterday, September 21), singer Marjan Berger spoke live in the MENT TV studio about her husband: 'Two weeks ago, I had to take Guy to a care home. I would have loved to keep him with me. That gives such a feeling of guilt.' She hoped that Guy was watching the live program in the home and sent him greetings via television. Marjan Berger and Guy lived together every single day for 46 years and did everything together. She further stated: 'In the early stages of the diagnosis, you still keep everything under control with medication, but in the long run, the impact of the disease is very severe.' She also mentioned receiving a lot of support from her best friend, singer Siham, who joined her at the table. Guy Janssens, Marjan's husband, was also active in the Flemish and Dutch entertainment world. For instance, he played a key role in the early success of Frans Bauer.
