Atoll of Atolls Part 2
Have you consider living on small, tropical island ! This video will show you what it takes to survive on the beautiful atoll where ship stops only twice a year. Island was developed by two generations of Kapinga people who planted coconut and breadfruit trees, dugout patches for growing taro, bought to to island variety of bananas and papaya trees. Main source of food is fish, lobsters and coconut crab. Money to buy supplies of rice, coffee, flower, sugar, tools, building materials etc. come from sale of raised pigs and dry coconut meat. Connection with outside world is possible via powered by solar panels radio that works sometimes. Video was recorded in Spring 2020.
