We have done many sound samples with Kamakas but almost always with the high G tuning. Herb stopped by and we decided to sample these classic models with Low G tuning. You can try the low G tuning on your uke by switching out the G string with a low G string made to be tuned one octave lower. The chords and scales will all be the same but you get a deeper, lower sound.
