Santa Rita is the third largest city in Paraíba (João Pessoa Metropolitan Region), famous for its sugarcane cultivation and its division into several historic and populous neighborhoods. The region mixes the rhythm of rural life with a strong commercial infrastructure. Tibiri (I and II): It is the largest and most populous neighborhood in the city. It is characterized by its completely flat terrain and by housing a strong commerce, concentrated in large avenues such as Campina Grande and João Pessoa. It functions almost like an "independent city", with banks, UPA (Emergency Care Unit) and schools. The main streets of the neighborhood, such as in Tibiri II, take on a special color during the national team's games thanks to community projects and local contests. From early on, the atmosphere is festive with the sound of pagode, forró and car sound systems echoing through the sidewalks. Children run around wearing national team shirts, with painted faces and horns, while adults concentrate in front of televisions in the living room or on the sidewalks.
