Part 1 - Kew Gardens Orchid Festival 2022 | Costa Rica

Hey everyone! Last weekend my mum and I went to the wonderful Royal Botanical Gardens, Kew Orchid Festival 2022 in the Princess of Wales Conservatory. This year, the theme is Costa Rica, a wonderful country who have really set the tone for battling climate change and how every country should really approach it. In this first video, we're just looking at the first section of orchids. In the next few videos, I'm going to include some interesting information about Costa Rica and the steps they have taken to reverse deforestation and overcome environmental impact challenges. In the meantime, grab a cup of tea, and enjoy the glorious orchids on display! You'll mostly see Cymbidiums, Vandas and Phalaenopsis orchids in Part 1, but don't worry there are plenty more genus and species, not to mention all the beautiful hybrids, to come.
