Masters Of The Air Episode 9 - Original Footage of Moosburg POW Camp, Stalag VIIA In this episode of WW2 Wayfinder, I have compiled a series of original wartime film reels of the POW Camp, Stalag VIIA at Moosburg, in Bavaria, Germany. Stalag VIIA was liberated by the troops of the US 14th Armored Division on the 29th April 1945 and it was here that Major John Egan along with thousands of other POWs would see out their last days at the hands of the Wehrmacht in WW2. This orignal ww2 archival footage provides an insight into the conditions in the camp and how hard it was for the POWs at Stalag VIIA.
