Yeni Bir Mosasaur Keşfedildi!

Paleontology is a science that has been developing incredibly rapidly, especially in the last 10 years. Newly discovered creatures are being discovered every week! Last week, a newly discovered mosasaur species was announced. It was named Jormungandr. Mosasaurs were large marine reptiles related to modern snakes and monitor lizards. They lived worldwide during the Cretaceous period, towards the end of the Mesozoic Era, the age of dinosaurs. Some species, such as Mosasaurus and Tylosaurus, could reach 15 meters in length. While the newly discovered Jormungandr wasn't as large, it was quite an impressive creature at 7-8 meters in length.
