First Metabo tool teardown, FMV 18 LTX BL 8 Cordless Router

First of the Metabo Hikoki collaboration videos. This is the first look at the Metabo cordless router. The FMV 18V LTX BL 8 cordless 18volt router. Fully dismantled to see what it is like on the inside. And ‪@metabo‬ do not disappoint, what a cracking motor inside this router. Metabo also do things a little differently and you can see that here in the stator windings. They have put a lot of effort into this motor. The tool itself is badicly the same layout and function as most other brands of cordless routers, but Metabo have longevity in mind. That's why they use and supply replaceable speed controler, switch and LED lights that can be cheaply changed if they ever fail outside of warranty. Unlike a lot top brands, Metabo is also still using quailty name brand bearings in the router, NSK and NMB to keep it running for as long as possible.
