Is Sony Animation REALLY The Next Big Thing?

I think it’s safe to say that over the last little while Sony has well and truly delivered some animated classics. You have two Spider-Verse films which have both performed well at the box office, and now the latest sensation KPop Demon Hunters is breaking all the Netflix records. This is absolutely nothing to sniff at and should definitely be praised and commended with people more excited than ever to see what Sony can do. However, I have seen more and more people downplaying almost every other studio in favour of Sony, ranting about how Sony is the best and they are the chosen ones. I am no stranger to people preferencing particular studios. Everyone was like this about Pixar for the longest time, until they got turned off from them. Nevertheless, I do think this is heading for disaster and is a more severe case of internet side taking that is only going to end in tears.
