Hello everyone~! Today's video is the March monthly vlog. I consumed a lot of art this month along with the usual shenanigans of baking and continuing my attempt at reorganization (I'm just... so bad at reorganization) Video Breakdown: 0:00 Art Gallery Visit 7:26 Making Proper British Scones 11:17 Casual Food Outing 13:58 Indie Bookstore Crawl 17:47 Attempting to do Taxes 20:45 A Night at the Ballet 22:43 Trip to IKEA & Closet Reorganization British Scone Recipe Ingredients: 2 cups of flour 4 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 cup of sugar 6 tbsp unsalted butter, room temp 2/3 cup whole milk 1 large egg Instructions: 1. Preheat oven to 425F 2. Combine together flour, baking powder, salt, sugar and butter. Mix until sand-like texture. 3. In a small bowl, combine together the milk and egg. Put aside 2 tbsp for egg wash. 4. Combine wet ingredients to dry ingredients until rough dough forms. 5. Transfer to countertop and knead a little (about 10 times?) into a smooth ball. 6. Roll out dough to about an inch and then cut with circle cutter 7. Place on baking sheet then brush egg wash on top. 8. Bake for 13-15 mins or until tops and bottoms are golden colour. 9. Enjoy!
