Mexico City's Metro Line Planned by the Aztecs

An exploration of Mexico City’s most historic and important metro line, following its full length along a route planned by the Aztecs more than 500 years ago. Check out the well-researched and beautifully rendered views of Tenochtitlan by Thomas Kole, and shown throughout this video, at https://tenochtitlan.thomaskole.nl/ This video has been over a year in the making and was filmed across many days from August 2023 to November 2024. While my vision for this channel is to produce shorter videos (around 10-15 minutes each) with a focus on contemporary urban planning and design, I’ve enjoyed researching, filming, writing, and editing this deeper-dive into the history of Line 2. If you appreciate the historical angle of this long-format video, and the heightened level of research that’s gone into its production, please let me know in the comments. Thanks for watching.
