Steven Mead goes to church in Italy and plays Varied Mood!

Steven Mead on tour again , this time in San Gregorio di Sassola, near Rome, Italy. It was the culminating concert of a three day masterclass course he gave for about 15 top Italian low brass musicians on 5th April 2009 (just 8 hours before the terrible earthquake just 60kms away). The final concert was held in this historic church in the centre of the old town in front of a capacity audience/congregation ! The town band, The Saxula Brass Band provide the accompaniment. It was a wonderful occasion.
