The fifth round of the UCI MTB World Series took us to La Thuile, Italy, for a weekend marked by heat, dust, a very demanding course, and races pushed to the limit. In the XCC, Catalina Vidaurre (25th), Ulan Galinski (26th), Chiara Teocchi (30th), and Jofre Cullell (35th) battled to the end in a fast and physically demanding race. On Sunday, the XCO showcased great character. Hugo Franco climbed back to 25th place in the U23 category after a crash in the early stages, Jofre Cullell finished 22nd, Ulan Galinski was 31st, and Catalina Vidaurre crossed the finish line in 34th position after suffering a dislocated shoulder and deciding to continue racing.
