This trip to Kaeng Krachan with my kids was extra special because it was a trip with "Snap, 12 years old vs. Sleep, 3 years old." Seeing their reaction for the first time when they saw so many butterflies was totally worth it! 🦋💚 📍 Location: Kaeng Krachan National Park (Phetchaburi) 🦋 Butterfly viewing spots: Around the salt licks/streams (most abundant in the morning-late morning) 🚗 Transportation: Private car / Some areas require a high-clearance vehicle to access. 👶 Suitable for young children? There are easy walking areas, but be aware of the sun, mosquitoes, and bees. ⏰ Recommended time to visit: March-May, when there are especially many butterflies.
