Illinois Railway Museum Diesel Days 2025: Sunday 8/10/25
And here is part 2 of my Diesel Days time, this time actually adventuring into the museum! Day 2 was just as chaotic as Day 1 with storms rolling in within an hour of the day starting, but quickly subsiding around noon. The highlights of the day were BN 9976 leading an E unit trio, and METX 614 making its first ever run on a mainline since it was retired from Metra service some years ago. Enjoy Day 2 of Diesel Days!
