Aerial hoop act " Ilmatar" created & choreographed by Milena Oksanen. Inspired by Inspired by Ilmatar from Kalevala, the Finnish National Epic. Ilmatar ('Mother of the Air') or Luonnotar ('Mother of Nature'), is in Finnish mythology the goddess of air and nature. In the Kalevala, she is Väinämöinen's mother. She travels across the cosmic waters and meets a genie who lays his egg in her lap. The egg turns out to contain all the celestial bodies.
