The shop is back open for business! ✈️🔨 I’m building a full-size replica of the iconic Curtiss P-40 Warhawk “American Dream” nose section completely from scratch, using original WWII drawings. In my Barboursville, VA home shop, the metal work is heating up with flush riveting on a massive aluminum panel — setting solid 1/8" rivets for that authentic, battle-ready structure. Soon the classic shark-mouth nose art will bring it to life. Inspired by the legendary Flying Tigers and the combat-proven P-40s that defined WWII aviation, I’m proud to carry forward the tradition after 15 years of training under master Gary Velasco of Fighting Colors.
