Asus Zenbook UX302LG / UX302 review - Haswell and Nvidia graphics

Written review: http://www.ultrabookreview.com/3446-a... This is the Asus Zenbook UX302LG, a member of the UX302 line of Asus Haswell Ultrabooks. We have the top configurations here with an Intel Core i5-4500U processor, 6 GB of RAM, Nvidia 730M graphics and a 256 GB SSD. The laptop is snappy and can deal with multimedia content and all sorts of games, including titles like Skyrim, Crysis 3 or Bioshock Infinite. It lasts for 6 hours on a charge with average use, or about 90 minutes of gaming. There's an IPS Full HD screen on this Asus Zenbook UX302LG and an improved keyboard and trackpad. Aesthetically, the UX302LG has been slightly redesigned and now boasts a sheet of Gorilla Glass on the lid, as opposed to the textured aluminum used in the past. All in all, the Zenbook UX302LG is the fastest 13 inch ultrabooks you can buy right now and for sure a viable gaming ultra-portable. But it's not cheap, The Base UX302 version starts at 1200 USD, while the tested configuration sells for 1600 to 1700 USD. There's also a cheaper version of the US302LG available, the Asus Zenbook UX302LA model, which ditches the dedicated graphics and is going to be more affordable. Except for that, the LG and the LA versions are identical.
