La extraña dama 1989 – P142

In the first part: Marcelo (Jorge Martínez) marries Elsa (Marta Albertini), leaving Gina (Luisa Kuliok) completely bewildered. In the intermission: Marcelo adjusts to married life with Elsa, while Gina recovers and prepares to take her vows. Marcelo is widowed, and Gina becomes Sister Piedad. Marcelo (who believes he has some claim to the marriage) is consumed by resentment, believing that Gina married Dr. Nicoli (Tony Vilas). The children Fiama (Andrea Barbieri), Aldo (Gabriel Corrado), and Virginia (Margarita Ross) grow up, and new problems arise as a consequence of old issues and Marcelo's stubbornness. Fiama learns of the wedding plans between Aldo and Virginia (who were unaware of them at the time) and that she is not Elsa's daughter. Furious with her father for having lied to her all her life and for his refusal to give her any information about her real mother, she decides to go to the Convent of the Adoration, a place ruled by the fearsome Sister Paulina (María Rosa Gallo). But Sister Piedad, also known as Gina, Fiama's mother, arrives at the Convent. In these clips: Sister Piedad, determined to end the matter by revealing the truth about the Baroness, asks Sister Beatriz to find a dress at Valeria's so she can leave the Convent, avoiding a long absence. The chancellor informs Sister Piedad of the transfer; she becomes agitated in front of him but then regains her composure. The chancellor also warns her that she must take precautions if anything happens (Fiama's escape). Sister Piedad doesn't miss the opportunity to ask the chancellor for the sisters' documentation to clarify obscure points in the files (Paulina's). The Richardi sisters reunite; Aldo contacts Fiama through Virginia. Virginia, fully motivated, encourages Fiama to fight Aldo. The transfer is imminent and they must escape. Fiama gives a positive response, and Aldo springs into action. Sister Piedad runs into Virginia, and Sister Paulina notices her nervousness about being recognized. Both are hiding things. Virginia confronts the priest, who flies into a rage. Carlos is about to tell Pedro about his relationship with Virginia.
