Feast of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel & San Paolino | LOST IN THE SAUCE
We're back in the neighborhood for the OLMC feast, where they hold one of the oldest traditions in Italian America. This feast started in 1887, where Brooklynites have been celebrating their faith, family, culture and history with the legendary dancing of the Giglio (a tradition that comes from Nola, Italy). We walk the feast, eat some incredible food, see some familiar faces and talk to some friends who grew up here to learn why this tradition is so important and continues to bring people back to the old neighborhood year after year. Tune in! #lostinthesauce
