The closer it got to evening, the more we felt it wasn't the bait, the tackle, or the spot that was the problem. By the end of the fishing trip, we were practically certain—the carp had spawned. This most likely explains the complete lack of activity. Sometimes fishing isn't just about catching trophies, but also about finding answers.
