Everyone has goals. Without goals, we are just aimlessly living life, with no intentional destination, development, growth, achievement or accomplishment. Christians sometimes fall into the same situation spiritually. They do not have a goal of growing in their Christian faith. But, God has a goal for each Christian - for each Christian to keep growing every day in their faith, growing in Christ. Somewhere back in the day, Christians somehow got the impression that they "just needed to go to church", without understanding the "why" of going to church. This has led to decades of millions of now wayward, apathetic and almost fruitless believers. The Christian church at large is showing this tragic progression.
