Shinobue Intro 6: Notation
I explain the basics of the notation used for shinobue (篠笛). More precisely, I'm describing the systems used for fingerings and rhythm, and I briefly comment on meri/kari and the hybrid of Western staff notation and the traditional Japanese notation. (This video seems timely after the spike in interest caused by the game Xenoblade Chronicles 3.)
