She Remained As She Was | 2 Samuel 11:1-5 1 When the year came and it was time for kings to go out to war, David sent Joab and his men and all the army of Israel. They destroyed the Ammonites and besieged Rabbah, while David remained in Jerusalem. 2 In the evening David rose from his bed and walked on the rooftop of the palace. There he saw a woman bathing, and she looked very beautiful. 3 David sent a messenger to find out who she was. And he said, “Is she not Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam and wife of Uriah the Hittite?” 4 David sent a messenger to bring her to him.
