In this video, we spent a night at Bohaesan Mountain in Geochang and captured the mountain's distinctive, magnificent rocky ridges and cliff ridges. Bohaesan is a place of such beautiful scenery that it deserves to be called a "Mini Seoraksan" or the "Seoraksan of the South." It is an attractive mountain where strangely shaped rocks and refreshing views unfold from the moment you step onto the ridge. In particular, the ridges of Bohaesan display a rugged and majestic atmosphere reminiscent of Seoraksan's Dinosaur Ridge. With the mountain slopes dropping deeply below the cliffs, the continuous rocky ridges, and the ridges in the direction of Geumgwibong in the distance, it was a course well-suited for both backpacking and trekking. During this hike, we climbed toward the summit of Bohaesan to find a campsite and spent the night in a spot atop the cliff ridge where we could witness both the sunset and the sunrise. There were small campsites scattered here and there where you could pitch about one tent, and the wind and morning air felt on the ridge were particularly impressive. Bohaesan is not just a mountain to reach the summit and descend; it is also a place where you can enjoy a loop course connecting Geumgwibong Peak to Bohaesan. Since it is possible to hike along the Bohaesan ridge from the direction of Gwigeolli Village, passing through Geumgwibong Peak, I would like to recommend this mountain to those who enjoy rocky ridge hiking and scenic trekking.
