We did white water rafting in River Dalaman, Turkey on our 1st Month Wedding Anniversary and almost escaped death. It was an experience of the lifetime but definitely a scary one and memories for life! Your will see some nerve wrecking drops which terrified us at that moment but now when we look back to them we laugh and cherish!! Hope you will also enjoy our funny moments! Review of Extathlon Rafting- Rafting is a sport that everyone should try once in their lifetime. Recreational rafting down the mountain river with different levels of difficulty. No experience needed. You will swim downstream on dinghies with an experienced instructor on 13km distance overcoming numerous of cascades. During the raft you should look forward to animations and a lunch after the raft. You are fully insured. Do not miss the occasion. The bus will take you from the hotel with other participants of the trip to the mountain Dalaman river canyon. After reaching the rafting base, there will be breakfast prepared for you. And before you will start your amazing journey on the river, you have to wear appropriate outfit: life jackts, helmets and special rubber shoes for water. This equipment will be provided by the instructors in rafting base (except shoes). They will also inform you how to stay safe during the trip. In dinghies for several people, under the eye of experienced instructors, with the use of paddles, you will cross Dalaman river thresholds in about 13km distance. You should not take any items with you to the dinghy, especially camera. Professional paparazzi will make sure to capture most interesting moments of a draft on photos and DVD video. After rafting a delicious lunch will wait for you on the tables under the clouds. Then you are also able to buy printed by the photographer pictures and see and purchase a video from rafting (at your own expense).
