Haag-Streit 900BM Slit Lamp lowering/going down by itself. Downward inertia suppression.

*Slowing/downward inertia caused by pressure/gravity on a BM Slit lamp. Probably the first step would be to replace the Main Spring. There is a YouTube video on how to do this.(See the end screen link) If the downward inertia continues, the next step would be to refurbish your spindle assembly, cleaning it of all the old grease and reapplying new grease. These steps should resolve the downward inertia issues. I apologize for the shaky camera work. I tried to hold the camera and talk at the same time. LOL ;-)
