We Over-Engineered a Burger… Was It Worth It?

We set out to answer one simple question: can an over-engineered burger actually beat a normal one? 🍔 To find out, we took burger making way too far - applying extreme levels of detail, process and optimisation inspired by the world of Formula 1. From ingredient choice and prep to cook times, temperatures and build order, we obsessed over everything - then put it head-to-head against a classic, no-nonsense burger to see if all that effort was actually worth it. To push our thinking, we teamed up with McLaren F1 and McLaren Esports, learning how elite teams approach precision, marginal gains and performance under pressure - and then brought those lessons back into the kitchen.
