🌴 3 MONTHS UNTIL OPENING! Remote construction in the Philippines is checking everything... Welcome to another Friday progress report from our remote resort construction, Duduś Residence, in the Philippines! Time is ticking away relentlessly – there are only 3 months left until the planned grand opening, and the finishing checklist is still incredibly long. In today's episode, I’m analyzing the footage that Agnes prepared for us on-site. While I’m happy with some of the final results, the Philippine construction reality proves once again that it can surprise you when you least expect it. Is it just one failure after another? See for yourself! 👀 What will you see in today’s vlog? The Big Room Inspection: How is the progress on the doors, bathrooms, and rendering the perimeter wall? Furniture with a "Surprise": The company delivered our ordered furniture, but they threw in a little "bonus" that completely devastated us. Philippine School of Construction: Tile cutting lessons, battling with levels, and local methods that are a far cry from European standards. Live Aircon Tests: You will see some absolute electrical improvisation that will make your blood run cold. Radical Personnel Decisions: Why did I have to take strict measures regarding the crew? One thing is for sure: there’s never a dull moment on this construction site, and before I head back to the Philippines, the team has to pass a real ultimate test! ✍️ Leave a comment! Question for you: What do you think about the local workers' approach to their job? Do you think we’ll manage to open the resort on time?
