2026 "Built to Last" Community Safety Discussion
From strong construction standards to fire prevention and emergency preparedness, building safety plays a critical role in protecting the places where we live, work, shop, and gather. The City of Johns Creek Community Development Department hosted “Built to Last,” a special Building Safety Month panel discussion at Johns Creek City Hall. The community heard directly from industry professionals and City staff about the standards and safety measures that help protect our community. Panelists included a local building inspector, Fire Department personnel, an architect/engineer, and Community Development staff who discussed resilient design, fire prevention and life safety systems, structural integrity, building codes, and practical tips for maintaining safe, strong properties throughout Johns Creek.
