Belgian Malinois dogs are super agile, active, good protectors & great in cold climates! So our new pup will be a perfect fit for the Alaska homestead! One month later, we went back to the same breeder & bought Gunner’s brother. Though commonly mistaken for them. You probably know Belgian Mals as cop dogs or the type of breed taken overseas that trains & works with our soldiers. In fact, it's a Belgian Mal breed that hunted down & found Osama Bin Laden when he was killed! My kind of dog! As ya'll know, we lost our 11 year old dalmation, "Stryker" about 4 months ago. It was really hard for us to lose a part of our family. Our other dog "Ollie" who is a boxer/pit mix rescue, hasn't been the same since! He's been sad & needs a new playmate. We love dogs & when we love, we love hard and keep them as long as they're alive. So this is a big step for us as our new puppy will be a part of our family for many years to come.
