At 11:22 a.m. local time, the Head of State, His Excellency Mohamed Bazoum, entered the official tribune in Diffa. Upon his arrival at the venue, the Head of State, accompanied by the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, Salifou Modi, received honors from the main band of the Nigerien Armed Forces before being saluted by a detachment of soldiers carrying the national flag. Before the parade began, several civilian and military figures were decorated by the Head of State. Then came the solemn moment of the grand parade. As is tradition in such circumstances, it was the President of the Republic, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, who had the honor of authorizing the start of the parade. The audience watched the passing of the ECOWAS, G5 Sahel, LCBC, and Veterans Affairs flags. This was followed by the passing of the detachment of troops from the Prytaneum Military School, the Water and Forestry Department, the Customs Department, the Police Department, and the National Guard. After the passage of the National Gendarmerie detachment, the Niger Armed Forces (FAN) entered the parade ring with the passage of the foot troops and a display of the equipment they use in the performance of their duties. Shortly after, the fantasia of the horsemen and camel drivers from the courts of the chiefdoms of the Diffa region began. All areas of the Diffa region were represented in this parade.
