I’m DONE Selling at a Loss | Why I’m Leaving Whatnot Retail This is an honest update about why I have stepped away from regular loss-making retail shows on Whatnot. For months, I built big live shows, shifted huge amounts of stock and met many genuinely brilliant customers. But turnover is not profit. When you are selling silver, gold, fashion and general stock below cost just to keep people entertained or chase bids, eventually the figures stop making sense. I have also had enough of the abuse, trolling, false claims, refund culture and the pressure that comes with running public live shows. The good customers and friends I have made are not the issue at all. Most people are decent. But a small number can make a business model unworkable. So this is the next chapter. I will still be running The Irish Mint, selling silver, gold, copper and selected products through my own websites. I will still be making YouTube videos. I will still be building, buying, selling and showing the real ups and downs of business. But I will not keep paying people to buy from me.
