元旦の東京を走る|浅草寺スタートで初日の出へ…方向音痴×三輪バイクの奇跡のツーリング
On New Year's Day morning, we rode our motorcycles through Tokyo while the city was still asleep— We went on a mini-tour to visit the shrine and see the first sunrise of the year. The starting point for this trip was the Kaminarimon Gate at Sensoji Temple in Asakusa, Tokyo. It was 5:30 AM, and the outside temperature was 1°C. In the bone-chilling cold, Takuma Aoki and Rico Fukuyama quietly began their tour. The route was Sensoji Temple (Kaminarimon) → Nihonbashi → Ginza → Tsukiji → Harumi Pier (first sunrise). Afterwards, we went on a first shrine visit tour to Namiyoke Shrine in Tsukiji. Rico Fukuyama is directionally challenged, while Takuma Aoki is adept at maneuvering his rather wide Can-Am Spyder Rally 900. Although it was a mini-tour, there were small troubles and dramas along the way... But will they be able to see the first sunrise safely? What kind of story awaited us on our New Year's Day Tokyo tour? This log was shot in collaboration with "Tansha Club," a motorcycle magazine published by Zokei-sha. Details of this tour will also be published in the April issue of "Tansha Club" (on sale February 16th). If you have a little time to spare over the New Year holidays, please take your time and enjoy a cup of coffee while you watch. Perhaps— just watching it will bring you some good fortune.
