Istanpitta performs a medley of Medieval Spanish multicultural spiritual music

The medieval music ensemble group Istanpitta performs a medley of spiritual music from medieval Spain, including the Sephardic Jewish song "Ën Këlohënu", the early Christian Christmas song "Gaudete", and mixed with an instrumental version of an Islamic Moorish dance tune "Dunje" (aka Dunje Rajke Druske kara manke - Kyustendilka". This performance will filmed live on November 24, 2012 during the last weekend of the Texas Renaissance Festival in Todd Mission, Texas. Featuring Al Cofrin, the musical director of Istanpitta, on lute with vocals, Abby Green on riq (Arabic frame-drum) with lead vocals, and Joachim Zwick on medieval vielle.
