For a boat of this size, it surprisingly only took a day for a couple to do it (a 26-foot Yanmar). With this much marine life growing on it, the engine speed dropped from a maximum of 3,200 RPM to a maximum of 2,300 RPM. The maximum boat speed dropped from 22 knots to 8 knots. This is maintenance that needs to be done regularly. It's a great feeling of accomplishment. If you'd like to try it, we're looking for cleaning members for the next time (lol).
