Discipology with Peyton Jones
In this episode of the 100Movements podcast, Brian Johnson interviews Peyton Jones about his book Discipology and the difference between discipleship and disciple-making. Drawing from his own journey of faith, church planting, and movemental ministry across multiple continents, Peyton unpacks how Jesus formed and mobilized His disciples through rhythms of time, teaching, and tactics. Together, they explore why many churches stop short of activation, what it means to disciple people to and through conversion, and how ordinary believers can begin living as disciple-makers in everyday life. The conversation also looks at the relationship between mobilization and multiplication, the role of the Holy Spirit in movement, and why disciple-making must move beyond information toward embodied mission.
