Get a Better vocal

In this video, I discuss how you can get a better sound out of your current microphone by adding analog gear such as preamps and compressors. This is a tested way to get professional sounding vocals. With recording, you want to get as close to a finished product before you start to mix anything. I used an older Presonus Studio Channel in this demonstration, but you can you anyone that you like. There is really no best mic for amplifier out there. The preamp for vocals are always subjective to the engineer or artist. Also there is not really any best mic for rap vocals either. That too is subjective as well. The best sounding audio interface is the one that you already have if you know how to you it with different types of microphones.
