COVID Impact on the Massachusetts Latino Community Webinar with The MassINC Polling Group

On Wednesday, August 12th, MassINC and the MassINC Polling Group presented the results of a survey of public opinion among Latino residents of Massachusetts. The survey covered a range of policy questions, including voting, the Census, the impacts of COVID-19, remote learning experiences, and the pandemic's impact on family financial security. The goal: to assess where Latinos in the Commonwealth stand and help inform a shared policy agenda that speaks to both the short term and long term needs of the Latinx community. The poll found that the COVID-19 pandemic and its economic fallout have hit Latino residents of Massachusetts hard, echoing state and national data documenting the severity of these impacts. This survey was sponsored by Amplify Latinx, The Barr Foundation, Eos Foundation, Latino Legacy Fund, Greater Boston Latino Network, Boston Impact Initiative, and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, and conducted by The MassINC Polling Group.
