I’ve now been back in Thailand for six days, and this time it’s a completely different experience because I’m here on my own. One thing I’m really interested to find out is whether being single will actually cost me more or less than when I was in a relationship. Right now, it’s still too early to tell, but over the next few weeks I’ll be keeping track of everything I spend. Will I save money? Will I spend more going out, eating out, and keeping myself busy? Or will my overall monthly costs actually go down?
