In this video, I'll show you the first prototype of a DIY hunting bolt/arrow, made from a standard Sobek bolt. The question is whether it works, whether the cutting edge bends, and whether this (rough) prototype can penetrate a bulletproof vest (Kevlar/Aramid). In a subsequent video, this bolt, like the other standard ones, will be fired at a pork roast with crackling. I'll also demonstrate firing it at a block of ice (Siberian gelatin), just as I've already done with the Cobra RX 130 lbs. The video will show you how to grind the bolt into this shape. Another video will follow showing the broadhead being given a different grind and also the making of a bodkin bolt which is also ground from a standard tip.
