¡EL FUTURO NOS ALCANZÓ! César Quintanilla lanza alerta climática
Honduran climate leader César Quintanilla was awarded the Grand Cross with Gold Plaque by the National Congress in recognition of his career and contributions to environmental protection and raising awareness about climate change. During his acceptance speech, he dedicated the award to God and to the environmental defenders working in various communities throughout the country to protect natural resources. Quintanilla warned about the effects of climate change in Honduras, noting that more than 150 municipalities are already facing conditions associated with the Central American Dry Corridor. He also called for strengthening environmental education, promoting preventative measures, and uniting efforts between the government, the private sector, and civil society to address the climate challenges affecting the country. The environmentalist emphasized that this distinction sends a positive message internationally about Honduras's commitment to protecting natural resources. He also urged decision-makers to promote sustainable policies that combat poverty, protect water and forests, and ensure a more resilient future for generations to come. #Honduras #CésarQuintanilla #ClimateChange Find more programs on #TVCPLAY by visiting https://www.televicentro.com/tvcplay Copyright © 2026 Televicentro
