When anxiety rises within me, your consolations delight my soul (Psalm 94:19). Sometimes I don't have confidence that I can do what God is calling me to do. It takes so much faith, and I am prone to wander and live by sight. But when I worship, He changes my heart. He restores to me a heart that says, "Whatever your will is, I just want to obey." This is the heart that he wants me to have, and yet so many times my heart is full of complaining, fear, and unbelief. I’m sorry God for not having faith. For focusing on myself over fixing my eyes on you. For letting fear grip me rather than faith fill me. I want to be all that you dream. I want to be well-pleasing to you. Help me Lord. Help me Lord.. I know how much I’m needy for you. Stir a hunger in my heart again for you Jesus. Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us. (Psalm 62:8).
