A father is fighting for his life in the intensive care unit of Rebagliati Hospital after falling from a bus while getting off at the rear. According to a family member, the victim was initially admitted to the hospital as an unidentified patient, and it wasn't until days later that they learned it was his brother who had been admitted through the emergency room. In a conversation with Buenos Días Perú, the injured father's brother said they were informed that the driver was already at the police station for the accident and is currently detained, but could be released within the next few hours. The bus driver stated that the father fell while getting off, but the family believes this explanation is insufficient given the seriousness of his condition. NEGLIGENCE OR ACCIDENT? The family believes the driver was negligent, as was the transportation company, because they did not take responsibility for the victim. They also believe that rather than an accident, the bus was traveling at high speed when the incident occurred. The victim's brother is asking anyone who witnessed the incident to contact them, as there is no security camera footage of the moment the victim got off the bus and the accident occurred. Meanwhile, the victim will remain in an induced coma for 72 hours due to a fractured skull.
