Wohin Polka | Die Schürzenträger

Burgenland is the smallest of Austria's nine federal states. Eisenstadt is the provincial capital - where this concert takes place at Esterházy Palace as part of the ORF program. The "Wohin Polka" is a folk tune from this region and is played by "Die Schürzenträger", who are still active today. The ORF Tirol folk music program "Mei liabste Weis" has been broadcast throughout Austria since 1988. In 2003, the idea was born for presenter Franz Posch to play music himself in every episode.
