Please turn on CC for English subtitles. Actually, the Trolltunga hike wasn’t originally part of the itinerary. I had planned to visit the Geiranger Fjord in northern Norway, but the scenic route, known as the Golden Route, was closed due to a rockfall. So, I made a last-minute decision to go this hiking instead. And it turned out to be the right choice! While it’s lovely to admire the scenery from the car, I personally prefer to move and feel the nature closely. The official website for the Trolltunga hike mentioned something like, “Experienced hikers can hike in summer; in winter, you must hike with an instructor.” So, I was a bit worried, but there were children and elderly people there too. It’s not an easy hiking route, but I’d say it’s suitable for intermediate hikers. I recommend starting early in the morning to give yourself plenty of time!
