Why did she also leave…and come back again? The days after the male eagle left her, there have been really strange things happening. I know Pepper’s hormones are working overtime – she's becoming an adult bird. She has been actively looking for the male, and she’s been acting very differently. Going to neighbouring properties, next to the ridge where she lives and walking around there. Then she vanished for a few days, returning one very cold morning. Unfortunately, she is still on her own.
