In 1948 High School Students Explained Capitalism. They Used Weenies

In 1948 Coronet Instructional Films set out to explain capitalism to American teenagers using a weenie roast as the primary economic model. The opening disclaimer stated the conclusions were yours to develop. The film then developed them anyway. Mr. Brown supplied the weenies, delivered them, and drove some of the children to the picnic. This was presented as a straightforward example of free enterprise.
