The Future, are you prepared?

When we look back over the past 25 or 50 tears or so you say say we have made great progress when it comes to technology and our general standard of living. We've gone from movies with no sound to 7.2 systems with dolby atmos, we've gone from black and white films to full colour and what a difference it has made. Look at the advancement in computer science, today we are spoilt for choice with the many different types of highly affordable computers, more memory, better graphics, better chips, better motherboards, more hard drive space at really affordable prices. Look at the advancement in mobile phones, it's just incredible how far we have come in such a short period of time, our smart phones of today that we carry around are just like mini powerful computers. Thank of audio and hi-fi, we have gone from mono sound to glorious stereo. Think of health care, things we are able to do today to in the past we would have died from. So many area where we see huge advancements in technology, things that have in general improved our lives, safer cars, better appliances in the home, many many things that have improved our quality of life. But yet the is a dark side to all these technology, at first it seemed to be making our life better, but now it seems that same technology is being used against us, to monitor us to spy on us, to monitor were we go, who we talk to, what we say, what we like, what we buy, how we spend our money, all very dark and sinister. Then we had to events of 2020, the lockdown and how that seemed to change people, a pivitol point in makinds history, so what will the next 25 years bring? My name is Adam and I live in the South West of England, United Kingdom. I started this channel to discuss things that would appeal to people of my generation, generation X, with topics such as our working lives, how much things have changed over the past 50 years, our job concerns, our health concerns and also our future. What does the future have in store for us generation X'ers and even the generations that are below us, what hope for the future do young people have today and what challenges do they face. The world is a rapidly changing place which bombards us with bad news, how do we cope with such events going on around us on a daily basis.
